Saudi Wahhabi Forces Arrest Two Shia Citizens
On 1 May 2011 , Saudi Authorities detained the Shi’ite human activist Fadhel Makki al-Manasef for allegedly taking part in demonstrations staged in Qatif in early March .
On 1 May 2011 , Saudi Authorities detained the Shi’ite human activist Fadhel Makki al-Manasef for allegedly taking part in demonstrations staged in Qatif in early March .
Al-Manasef was summoned to police station of Awwamiyah and then transferred to the Criminal Research Department. After arrest he was taken to a unknown place and there is no information about his fate.
It is worth to mention that al-Manasef was among the Shiite delegation included prominent clerics and social notables who met the Deputy Governor of Eastern Province al-Qatif Governor Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss the situation of the Province within the last time .
Al-Manasef was detained in 2009 for taking part in protests jointly with Shaikh Nimer Baqer al-Nimer .
On the other hand , the security authorities have detained the Shi’ite citizen Ammar Quraish ( vocalist , chanter religious monodies) after he was summoned to police station of Safwa and then taken to the police station of al-Khbar .
