Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli strikes on Beit Jinn

Saudi Arabia on Friday strongly condemned the recent aggression carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the town of Beit Jinn in the Syrian Arab Republic.

At least 13 people were killed and 24 injured by Israeli forces during a raid on the southern village, according to the Syrian News Agency, SANA.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom’s rejection of all Israeli violations of Syrian territory and any attempts to destabilize the security and stability of Syria and its people.

“The Kingdom reiterates its demand to the international community, particularly the permanent members of the UN Security Council, to address the repeated Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty and the criminal Israeli practices against the population in Syrian border villages and areas,” the statement said.

It called for the implementation of all relevant international resolutions and laws to “guarantee the sovereignty, unity, and security of Syria and its brotherly people.”
