Twenty-Six Martyred Tens Wounded on 7th Day of Israeli Aggression on Gaza Strip

palestaine The number of martyrs killed on the seventh consecutive day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip reached 26 martyrs along with more than ten wounded, raising the death toll of the methodical Israeli aggression to more than 140 martyrs and around 950 wounded, according to Palestinian Representative to the UN, Riyad Mansour.
The 26 martyrs, some of them children, were killed as Israeli occupation forces intensified their air raids against residential areas across the Strip, with raids beginning at dawn of Tuesday.
Two journalists, Mohammad al-Komi and Hussam Salameh, were among the martyred when Israeli raids targeted a press car belonging to the Palestinian satellite channel Al-Aqsa.
The Palestinian Resistance continued to retaliate against the Israeli murder machine, launching rockets at Israeli occupation settlements and sites within the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza last Wednesday, the Palestinian Resistance fired more than 1039 rockets at Israeli occupation sites, with the Israeli occupation acknowledging that 1209 rockets and mortar shells were fired at its sites.
The Palestinian Resistance rejected the Israeli suggestions for a ceasefire, but appeasement efforts are still underway, as the Palestinians seek a full and immediate ceasefire while the Israeli occupation wants to carry it out in two stages.
Archbishop Hanna, Father Musallam Express Solidarity with Gaza Against Israel’s Aggression
Archbishop Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sebaste Roman Orthodox in Jerusalem and Father Manuel Musallam denounced the Israeli aggression on Gaza and demanded its immediate stop.
In a joint statement after their meeting in Birzeit city, Archbishop Hannad and Father Musallam stressed that Palestine’s churches pray for Gaza and its people to live peacefully and in dignity.
They also highlighted the importance of solidarity with the people of Gaza, stressing their firmness in “Defending our lands and sanctities despite all attempts to terrorize us.”
They said that every Palestinian Muslim and Christian live the suffering of Gaza and support it in all possible ways.
Ki-Moon Calls for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, warning that escalation in it will affect the entire region’s stability.
He warned than any land operations by Israel in Gaza will lead to a serious escalation.
