Israel kills over 34 Palestinians in 24 hours in Gaza
The Israeli occupation committed a new massacre at dawn Friday, killing eight Palestinians in an airstrike that targeted a home in the al-Ma’skar area west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, three more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in a separate Israeli strike on Salah al-Din Street in the central region of the Strip. Our correspondent also reported injuries resulting from Israeli gunfire toward Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid south of the “Netzarim Axis.”
More than 100 Palestinians were martyred in the past 24 hours, with over 64 of the victims killed in Gaza City and the northern governorate alone.
The latest wave of killings comes amid warnings by Palestinian factions and humanitarian groups that aid distribution points have become zones of extreme danger. Hamas had previously stated that these locations have turned into “mass death traps,” placing full responsibility for the daily massacres around them on the Israeli occupation.
Local media reported that a total of 34 people were killed in overnight Israeli attacks, 23 of whom were waiting for aid.
According to the latest figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health, the Israeli war on Gaza has left 55,706 Palestinians martyred and 130,101 wounded since October 7, 2023.
