Our people will not allow thwarting their uprising: Ismail Haneyya

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya affirmed, in a press statement on Friday, that the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance will not allow any party to thwart their escalating uprising.

Haneyya stressed that all the desperate attempts to ignore the Palestinian pains, the prisoners’ suffering, and the Palestinian people’s dream for freedom and independence will certainly fail.

Haneyya further hailed all the Palestinian people for taking to the streets at dawn Friday in protest against the Nablus massacre.

“The Palestinian battle against the enemy enters a very critical stage that will break the occupiers and expel them from our fathers’ and forefathers’ lands,” he added.

“Only the Palestinian people, who live in this land and protect its borders, have the right to decide over their future,” the Hamas leader asserted.

Haneyya also stressed that this popular uprising will not stop till raising the Palestinian flags over the Islamic and Christian holy places in al-Quds.

Late Thursday, angry protests swept the West Bank and Gaza Strip in rejection to the Nablus massacre.
