23-year-old young Palestinian Ahmed Daraghma, Tulkarm soccer player, was shot and murdered by Israeli occupation forces during a military raid into Nablus city.

The killing was caused near the site that is located on the outskirts of the city of Nablus early Thursday, during clashes between Palestinians and the occupation forces, who were providing protection for the illegal settlers, Palestinian media reported.

Five other Palestinians were also wounded after being hit with live rounds during the raid. Nearly 20 other Palestinians suffered tear gas inhalation injuries, two of whom were taken to hospital.

Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh called on the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to condemn the killing of Daraghma.

Shtayyeh strongly slammed the Israeli crime that resulted in the killing of Daraghma who was hit by live rounds in the back and feet, as confrontations erupted when a bunch of Israeli army forces swept into the eastern part of Nablus to provide protection for Israeli settlers who stormed Jospeh’s Tomb.

The Prime Minister called on international rights’ organization to take responsibility to stop the field Israeli assassinations against Palestinians and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.

It’s worth mentioning that illegal settlers repeatedly break into Joseph’s Tomb, located in a densely Palestinian populated area in Nablus, provoking chaos and confrontation with local Palestinian residents.

Extremist settlers stormed Thursday morning the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque from Mughrabi Gate under strict protection from the Zionist enemy police on the fifth day of the so-called Hebrew “Hanukkah” holiday.

The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied al-Quds stated that dozens of settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque since morning.

In the same context, Zionist forces today demolished a commercial structure and a road in Deir Sharaf village, west of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that Israeli forces escorted a bulldozer into the outskirts of the village, where the heavy machinery tore down a car repair and wash shop, purportedly for being constructed without a license, and destroyed an asphalted 500-meter-long road.
