Thousands of Palestinians perform Fajr prayer at Aqsa Mosque

Thousands of Palestinians managed to perform Fajr (dawn) prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil on Friday.

Since the early morning hours, thousands of Palestinians including women and children reached al-Aqsa as part of the Great Fajr campaign.

After performing Fajr prayer, hundreds of Palestinians gathered in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, confirming the Palestinians’ spiritual links to the holy site.

Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians, including families, performed the dawn prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.

Palestinian activists had earlier called for intensifying presence at Palestinian holy sites in response to the Israeli systematic Judaization policy.
