Thousands offer Friday prayer at Aqsa Mosque
Thousands of Palestinian worshipers attended the Friday prayer and Khutba (sermon) in the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem amidst tight Israeli security measures.
The Islamic Awkaf department in the holy city said that around 45,000 Palestinians performed the Friday prayer in the holy Islamic site.
Israeli occupation police were deployed in the Old City and at the gates of the Aqsa Mosque and scrutinized IDs of worshipers.
