An unknown Israeli settler hit and killed a Palestinian boy who was riding his bicycle near his village in the southern part of the West Bank.
Tariq Zebania, seven-year-old, was from Tarqumia, west of Hebron, a Palestinian city in the southern West Bank, and was riding his bicycle by the settlement road near his town on Monday as he was struck by a car driven by an Israeli settler who headed into the ‘Adhoura’ settlement after hitting the boy.
Eyewitnesses called the Israeli security forces, who sent a military ambulance to transport the child to an Israeli hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, IMEMC News reported.
Local sources reported that no efforts were made by the Israeli authorities to apprehend the driver who killed the boy.
Earlier on July 12, the residents of West Bank village of Kafr Qaddum were shocked after Israeli snipers shot the 10-year-old Palestinian boy, Abdul Rahman Shteiwiboy in the head.
