Pakistan Minister meets Iranian counterpart on science and technology

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry called on his Iranian counterpart Mansour Gholami in Isfahan today (Tuesday).
Most importantly, Pakistani minister has arrived in Iran to attend ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) meeting.

Both ministers shared views on science and technology that can be the focus of strong relations between Tehran and Islamabad.

According to IRNA, Fawad expressed Pakistan’s preparedness for strengthening Pak-Iran ties in fields such as oil, agriculture and industry.

Furthermore, he also expressed Pakistan’s readiness for enhanced ties in medicine, nanotechnology and irrigation sectors.

Most importanly, Pakistan ready for strengthening Pak-Iran ties in fields such as oil, agriculture, industry, medicine, nanotechnology and irrigation sectors.

He referred to the fast changing world of technology and said the countries in the region; particularly the ECO members can take strides toward a stronger relation on science and high tech.

Meanwhile, Gholami said that Iran and Pakistan enjoy a versatile range of scientific cooperation. That includes professor and student exchange and joint research projects.

“Persian is the shared language of Iran and Pakistan, and therefore, numerous cultural commonalities can be found to set the ground for a more developed relations between the two states,” he said.
