Allama Sibtain Sabzwari demands legislation as per CII recommendations

Shia Ulema Council leader Allama Sibtain Sabzwari has asked government to do legislation in accordance with recommendations of Council of Islamic Ideology (CII).
The SUC North Punjab chapter president lamented that CII was reduced to a worthless consultative body.
Most importantly, he pointed out, CII is not innovating anything but its recommendations are based on Islamic jurisprudence.
Furthermore, he said, Islamic jurisprudence follows Quran, Hadees and sacred life of Ahle Bait and others.
Also, he said legislation of Islamic Republic of Pakistan must not go against Islamic laws; therefore, parliament prefers CII recommendations.
