Allama Irshad demands government to address KP Shia grievances
MWM KP chapter deputy secretary general Allama Irshad Ali has urged the PTI government to address grievances of Shia Muslims forthwith.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chapter leader made this demand in an interview.
Most importantly he said Shia Muslims of Hangu/Shahukhel had suffered the most due to terrorism and resultant displacement.
MWM leaders had meetings with rulers. He said the government had assured them to resolve all issues.
He further said that neither the displaced Shias rehabilitated to their original abodes nor destroyed houses, mosques and Imam Bargahs reconstructed.
Therefore, Allama Irshad demanded that government should take practical steps in this regard.
Furthermore, he cited Kotli Imam Hussain land dispute and target killings of Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan. And also, he cited land issues in Parachinar.
Answering a question, MWM KP leader said that his party leaders had meetings with rulers. He said the government had assured them to resolve all issues. Hence, government must act upon those commitments promptly, he urged.
