Pakistan Senate chairman meets Al Quds Parliament delegation in Islamabad
Four-member delegation of Al Quds Parliament led by Hamid Abdullah Hussein Al-Ahmar called on Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani during their currently visit to Pakistan. According to an official press release, Sanjrani emphasised the need for a robust approach to highlight the plight of people of Palestine more effectively at global level.
Most importantly, he cited that Zionist regime of Israel poses continuous threat to regional and global peace. Because, he added, Israel’s involvement in state sponsored terrorism in Palestine.
Parliament, government and people of Pakistan have always expressed their unequivocal support for the people of Palestine.
Furthermore, Chairman Senate said that the people of Palestine and Kashmir are struggling for their rights.
Hence, he urged the international community they need to use global influence to ensure safety and protection of the civilian population. And also they should join hands for lasting peace in those regions.
The Chairman Senate emphasized the need for enhanced institutional linkages between Al-Quds parliament and Senate of Pakistan.
Leader of the delegation said that Muslims in Palestine are facing many challenges. Therefore, he urged the Muslim world needs to make joint efforts for peace and stability of those regions.
He also thanked the parliament, government and people of Pakistan for continued support to the Palestinian cause.
