Nation is the first family of Pak Army soldiers: COAS

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that nation is the first family of Pak Army soldiers. Then comes their families, he said, addressing jawans on Eid.

Army Chief said that Pak Army soldiers take pride in defence of motherland away from families even on Eid. He said that cut in defence budget not a favour but need of hours. The COAS said that defence budget cut would not affect living standard of soldiers. He said officers have decided not to get raise in their salaries. He said this decision has nothing to do with army jawans.
