IED blast kills 2 soldiers of Pak Army in Balochistan on Eid duty
Two soldiers of Pak Army’s Frontier Corps (FC) embraced martyrdom in a terrorist-laid IED explosion when patrolling on Eid security duty in Balochistan’s Harnai district.
Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement on Thursday that terrorists targeted FC troops during their Eid security duties.
The martyred soldier Sepoy Yar Muhammad, 23, hails from Kuch, District Sibi. Martyr Sepoy Mehtab Khan, 19, from Laki Marwat.
Soon after it, security officials cordoned off the area and began a search operation.
Sources in Balochistan Levies said improvised explosive device (IED) blast at around 8:30am in Khost tehsil.
Most importantly, they said personnel were bringing water from the stream where the IED planted.
The concerned authorities shifted the bodies of the martyred soldiers to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Harnai.
