Three militants of banned outfit including their commander killed in Kalat, security officials said.
They said that intelligence agencies, along with security forces, launched an operation in the Dashat-e-Gorran area, some 50km off Kalat town.
They began encounter yesterday after receiving information about the presence of militants there.
Most importantly, banned outfit’s militants opened fire on the security forces.

Security forces identified one slain militant as Shams Qalandrni, an important commander of the banned Baloch Liberation Army.

Then both sides exchanged heavy fire for several hours, killing three armed militants.
