They said that Mr. Shafi staunchly opposed appointment of judge Raja Shahbaz as Chief Election Commissioner.

More importantly, they cited that Raja Shahbaz was the judge of anti terrorism court that heard his case.

They also noted that the same judge Raja Shahbaz rejected bail of Captain Shafi (retd).
