New Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood to accompany PM in first Iran visit

Pakistan’s new Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood will accompany Prime Minister Imran Khan during his first official visit of Iran.
Prime Minister-led Pakistani high level delegation will begin Iran visit on April 21.
Diplomat Sohail Mahmood has assumed the position of the Secretary of Foreign Ministry on Tuesday after retirement of former Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua who had been overseeing the arrangements for Iran visit.
The visit of Prime Minister to Iran will help improve political ties between the two countries and remove irritants created by certain elements through obnoxious activities in the bordering areas.
