Pakistan charity head meets Iranian Consul General to discuss help for flood victims

Minhajul Hussain Welfare Organisation chief Allama Mohammad Hussain Akbar has called on Iranian Consul General Ali Reza Nazeri in Lahore and assured him of all out assistance and help to the flood-hit Iranians.
He visited Iranian Cultural Centre where said meeting took place. Allama M H Akbar who is also a renowned Shia Islamic scholar expressed grief over the losses of lives and huge financial losses due to floods.
“The entire Pakistani nation stands with Iranian brethren in this time of need. We are saddened over huge losses causes by flood,” he said.
The charity head appealed to the compatriots to intensify fund-raising and relief activities for flood-stricken people of Iran.
He said Pakistanis should extend their help through cash, dry food, dry milk, medicines and clothes and hand over these things to Iranian consulate in Lahore.
