Pakistan government offers humanitarian assistance to flood hit Iran

Prime Minister Imran Khan extended his prayers and support to the Iranian nation amid continuous floods since March 19 played havoc in 23 provinces of total 31 provinces of the neighbouring brotherly and friendly Islamic country Iran.

The premier turned to the neighboring country on Sunday praying for the people of Iran as authorities issued warnings of a fresh round of flooding in the country; while also offering to provide immediate support when required.
“Our prayers go to the people of Iran as they deal with unprecedented flooding. We stand ready to provide any humanitarian assistance required,” he stated.

Multiple villages and towns in the southern part of Iran were evacuated after fresh warnings were issued of flooding that has been going on since March, thus far causing human and financial losses and leaving many infrastructures destroyed and a large number of people displaced throughout the country.
