Mehdi Mousavi’s live interview rebuffs Saudi-funded propaganda

Syed Mehdi Mousavi has clarified that he has been living a happy private life and have to state factual position through live interview after a Saudi-funded Wesal TV channel broadcast fake news that he was arrested in a terror attack case.

He said he was stunned when friends informed him that social media pages and a Saudi-funded media network claimed he was arrested in connection with a recent terror attack. He said it was shocking and saddening that liars were engaged in disseminating malicious lies to defame him.
It is relevant to add here that a journalist Matloob Mousavi and a cameraman of a news channel were taken into undeclared illegal custody and since then banned terror outfits have begun spreading malicious propaganda.
Matloob’s brother Minhaj and Matloob’s family don’t know why Matloob was illegally detained and subjected to enforced disappearance. BBC Urdu misquoted and misreported many points attributing it to Minhaj Mousavi which Minhaj clarified he never said.
It was the question of BBC Urdu correspondent whether his brother’s enforced disappearance was linked to recent terror attack, he responded, there could be anything behind it. He never said his brother was taken away because of any sort of probe of anything. He never said so.
