Allama Raja Nasir re-elected as secretary general of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen

Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen electoral college re-elected Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari as secretary general for the fourth consecutive term today.

250 members of electoral college comprising of central officials, provincial chapters officials and representatives from district chapters cast votes in the election.

Allama Raja Nasir was voted 216 votes in the election held during MWM’s JanNisaran-e-Mehdi Convention in Islamabad.

Earlier, Shoora Aali of MWM had shortlisted three contestants for the election. Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi and Allama Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardezi were two other candidates.

Allama Shaikh Hassan Salahuddin announced election result.

Allama Raja Nasir will continue to serve the party till next election to be held in 2022.
