ASWJ terrorist killed in a gunfight in DI Khan

The security forces gunned down a wanted terrorist of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) in an encounter during a search operation in Khoi Bahara area in the district Dera Ismail Khan.

Sources said that security forces on a tip-off raided the hideout of the terrorist in Khoi Bahara area yesterday. The terrorist, they said, opened fire on the forces and was killed in the ensuing clash. He was identified as Kashif alias Masroor.
A Kalashnikov, a hand-grenade, other explosives were also recovered from him, they added. The sources said the notorious terrorist was wanted to the police for terror activities. Reportedly, he also had ties to Daesh terrorist group.
