With India at OIC meeting, Saudi, UAE monarchies humiliate Pakistan
With India at OIC meeting
Saudi and UAE monarchies humiliated Pakistan by allowing Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj to address the plenary of the 46th session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Abu Dhabi despite boycott by Pakistan.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates gave a clear message to Pakistani nation that they preferred India to Pakistan to the extent that the founder member of OIC, Sunni Muslim majority nation can be sacrificed for the sake of Hindu-majority non-member India to OIC FMs summit.
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs and UAE Foreign Minister and their rulers had always been dragging Pakistan into the wars of US-led alliance of pro-Israel countries in the past and KSA and UAE have also been accused of fanning sectarian hatred in Pakistan against Shia Muslims and Shia majority Iran but that too proved their joint venture with US-Israel nexus.
KSA and UAE intentionally showed their disdain for Pakistan despite the warm welcome and extraordinarily highest-profile reception accorded to the Crown Princes MBS and Mohammed bin Zayed.
Pakistanis are dismayed over the hypocrites such as Saudi and UAE monarchies. The patriot Pakistanis say it must be clear to pro-KSA and pro-UAE ruling elites of the PTI-led government, including Prime Minister Imran Khan that it is not India but they who sacrificed national interest by tilting to KSA and UAE at the cost of relations with Iran and suffered huge losses by halting work on IP gas pipeline project to please US-allied KSA and UAE.
But, Indian FM hailed relations with Iran even at the OIC FMs huddle in Abu Dhabi although those invited her mad speeches against Iran but she didn’t say a single word against Iran. But, in Pakistan, pro-KSA and pro-UAE elites have always been sacrificing Pakistani interest to please these royals due to which Pakistan suffered worst sort of energy crisis, the mother of all sorts of economic crisis.
At least 4000 megawatt of electricity could have been generated by use of Iran’s gas but ruling elites didn’t prefer Pakistan’s national interest and Pakistan suffered colossal financial losses due to acute shortage of energy bringing export productions to its lowest ebb. Is it not time to restore work to complete IP gas pipeline forthwith to get rid of dependence and reliance on hypocrites such as KSA, UAE and US.
