Takfiri Daesh terrorist group commander killed in Orakzai gunfight

Security forces have killed a commander of takfiri Daesh terrorist group identified as Ayubi alias Kaka in Barlas area in Mamozai tehsil in Upper Orakzai.

Daesh ringleader was targeted by the personnel of the security forces who conducted an intelligence-based operation in Barlas area. Ayubi was known to be a commander of the Khorasan chapter of the ISIS also known as Daesh, official sources said.
The sources said the militant opened fire on the security forces but was killed in the exchange of fire.
The sources said Ayubi was appointed Daesh commander of Orakzai and Kurram districts after his predecessor named Islam was killed in a clash with the security forces some time back. The sources said Ayubi was involved in attacks on the security forces and other government installations.
