Shia Muslims express solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris
Like other compatriots, Shia Muslims of Pakistan organised several programmes to express solidarity with oppressed people of Kashmir in and out of the country.
The supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen observed a candle-light vigil in Karachi on the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The party organised rallies and demonstrations from Karachi to Azad Kashmir to Gilgit-Baltistan. Other groups also organized programmes.
One such special programme was organized in Iran where Pakistani expatriates held a joint conference to highlight the Kashmir issue. The rallies and demos were held from less-known town such as Talamba (Khanewal district) to major cities such as Karachi.
