MWM begins preparing for forthcoming municipal elections in Sindh

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Sindh chapter political affairs secretary Syed Ali Hussain Naqvi has directed the concerned officials of his party to start preparing for the local government elections to be held this year.

He said that municipal bodies’ term is expiring and after that elections are likely to be held this year. He said that local officials of the MWM should explore their options for fielding their contestants, seat adjustments or alliance with other parties.
Mr. Naqvi asked them to prepare lists of possible candidates from the MWM to be nominated for the municipal elections.
He directed them to send back to him the lists of their recommended panels for the local councils’ elections.
