Mulla Yaqoob killing in Pakistan denied by group spokesman

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid in a Twitter message rebuffed the report regarding the killing of Mulla Yaqoob son of Taliban head Mulla Mohammad Omar.

In his message which was released on Tuesday, Mojahed described the news on his killing in Peshawar, Pakistan as false and the media hype. He added that Afghanistan government started promoting the propaganda campaign after killing of a large number of security forces in Maidan Wardak Province.
This is while, Afghan media released news on killing of Mullah Yaghoub on Monday night, saying he had been killed by unknown armed people.
The suicide attackers broke into a center for training security forces in Maidan Wardak Province on Monday.
According to local sources, five attackers who were wearing security forces’ uniforms detonated a car in front of the building and then started shooting.
There are contradictory reports on the number of casualties.
