Kotli Imam Hussain DI Khan’s over 327 kanal land transfer to Shias demanded

Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Shia Waqf Kotli Imam Hussain and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen have demanded the PTI-led government’s minister Ali Amin Gandapur to honour his promise by ensuring transfer of 327 kanal and 9 marla land of Kotli Imam Hussain in Dera Ismail Khan.

The demand was made at a joint meeting of the said movement and MWM where Bashir Hussain Jarhia represented the former whereas Allama Ghazanfar spoke on behalf of MWM.
They turned down boundaries wall on merely 119 kanal land of Kotli Imam Hussain (AS) and said those supporting that cannot be called friends of Shia Muslims.
They also made it clear that Shia Muslims don’t need to seek permission to observe their religious and cultural rituals from anybody. However, they said, police are informed prior to such events for security reasons and not for any other purpose.
