MWM announces support f for PTI candidate in Punjab by-election

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced its support to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf contestant Asad Ali Khokhar in the by election to Punjab Assembly from PP-168 constituency.

MWM Political Affairs head Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi and Punjab chapter head Allama Syed Mubarak Mousavi made this announcement in a meeting with Ejaz Chaudhry, a senior leader of PTI.
MWM leader Naqvi said that they and PTI share identical views on the vision of father of the nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah and National Poet Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal to make Pakistan a welfare state. He said they and PTI have identical view to defend ideological boundaries of Pakistan.
Allama Mousavi and Asad Abbas Naqvi announced MWM’s support to PTI candidate Asad Ali Khokhar in the by-election for which PTI thanked them.
Naqvi said although they have complaints that some restrictions continued on sacred azadari rituals eve during the tenure of PTI government but he expressed hope PTI would take all issued raised by MWM, seriously.
Allama Mousavi said that PTI government must address legitimate concerns of the allied MWM.
PTI’s senior leader Ejaz Chaudhry said he had not developed relations with MWM by chance but he was convinced by MWM’s logical and rational approach and just stance on national and international issues. He said he doesn’t differentiate between workers of PTI and MWM.
