Terrorist sanctuaries in Afghanistan pose threat for Pakistan: Allama Raja Nasir
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has condemned the murder of Pakistani police officer Tahir Dawar in Afghanistan, saying that terrorist sanctuaries in the neighbouring countries continue to pose threat for Pakistan.
He said that minister of state for interior affairs is silent on how SP Tahir Dawar was kidnapped in Pakistan and taken to Afghanistan where he was murdered.
MWM leader asked the government to clarify its position on the issue and disclose details. He suggested that strong protest should be lodged with the Afghan government.
Allama Raja Nasir lamented that enforced disappearance also continues unabated and the government needs to stop it.
