Allama Raja Nasir vows to play key role in making Dam project a success

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has announced his all out support to the PTI-led government’s Dam project, asserting that MWM will play cardinal part in making this scheme a success.

He made this pledge at a programme, MWM organized in Qaumi Markaz Shah Jamal in Lahore that was organized to celebrate the Defence Day of Pakistan and Eid-e-Wilayat.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan’s pledge not to participate in others wars, is right step in right direction of an independent foreign policy and we support it,” he said, lauding the decision.
Raja Nasir said that all should cooperate and support new government of Imran Khan-led PTI and people should not lend ears to the ongoing negative media war aimed at discouraging PTI government. He said that the campaign was aimed at bringing Imran Khan and his government under pressure.
He said dams are needed for water management and electricity generation; therefore, MWM and its supporters would back the government in this campaign.
MWM women wing secretary general Syeda Zehra Naqvi and prominent women leaders of PTI women and many renowned MWM scholars and leaders also attended the programme.
Children presented a tableau to pay tributes to martyrs of armed forces.
