Muavia Azam joins renamed version of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba

Notorious ringleader of outlawed terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ/LeJ) Muavia Azam formally joined Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party that is the renamed version of same old Sipah-e-Sahaba.

Muavia Azam had tried his level best to use his one vote in Punjab Assembly to become minister. He was approached both by PTI and PML-N leaders who sought his support for their efforts to form government in Punjab.
However, nation-wide public criticism and pressure from allied Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen compelled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to stay away from Muavia Azam who wanted to join PTI.
Since PTI is relatively in a better position to form government in Punjab and PML-N seems to be leading the Opposition, Muavia Azam cleverly didn’t join PML-N nor support them to avoid wrath of would-be PTI government in Punjab.
Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party (PRHP) is renamed version of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ/LeJ) but Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed in shouldering its responsibilities and registered it in violation of counterterrorism laws. The ECP also failed in disqualifying ringleaders of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ/LeJ) such as Ludhianvi, Farooqi, Muavia Azam, etc., from contesting elections that was also a violation of electoral laws in addition to counterterrorism laws.
