Regrets came after MWM’s anger over PTI-Sipah-e-Sahaba meeting
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has registered stiff protest against the PTI leader’s meeting with outlawed terrorist party’s MPA in Jhang. MWM delegation met PTI’s top leadership including close-confidante of Imran Khan to formally express their displeasure.
The PTI leadership regretted for that meeting after the high-level contacts and the countrywide wrath expressed by pro-peace Pakistanis through social media.
Shireen Mazari, a noted leader of PTI tweeted that Chaudhry Sarwar’s meeting with Muavia Azam and M A Ludhianvi was not in accordance with the party policy nor it was a party decision to meet him and invited him to join PTI.
However, PTI leadership assured the MWM that they would not allow it because PTI doesn’t support terrorism nor banned outfits. PTI leaders told MWM leaders their high-level official delegation would soon visit MWM office and formally clarify their position on the issue, as well.
