Banned outfit chief Ludhianvi defeated by Sunni woman politician in election

M Ahmed Ludhianvi, Deobandi takfiri ringleader of banned terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba, was trounced in election to National Assembly from NA-115 Jhang II by a woman Sunni Muslim politician belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The constituency NA-115 Jhang II has 457,988 voters out of which 262,826 voters were cast and 8,895 votes were declared invalid in the July 25 general elections. Turnout was 57.39%.
Ghulam Bibi Bharwana of PTI was polled 91,434 votes against Ludhianvi’s 68,616 votes while Sheikh Waqas secured 60,598 votes. PML-N’s Salim Tahir got 21,108 votes.
The ignominious defeat of Ludhianvi was a clear message from Sunni and Shia Muslim voters that they detest and oppose intolerant hatemongering and pro-terrorism Deobandi takfiri ideology and their violent extremism and militancy that pose serious threat to the entire Pakistani nation.
This is a slap in the face of those timid officials who failed to enforce electoral laws; otherwise banned terrorist outfit’s ringleaders would have been disqualified automatically as per electoral laws.
