Notorious hatemongering violent extremist Asif Muavia of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) has suffered humiliating defeat in the election to National Assembly seat (NA-116) from Jhang district, despite four-way electoral-fray.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Mohammad Amir Sultan of PTI secured 83,211 votes against Asif Muavia of outlawed terrorist group who contested as independent candidate.
It is very much interesting and amazing results because Muavia got 65,663 votes while another independent Amir Abbas Siyal backed by TNFJ was polled 51,383 votes and another independent contestant Saima Akhtar secured 43,873 votes.
Despite division of a major chunk of votes, takfiri Deobandi terrorist ringleader who was allowed to contest elections in violation of electoral laws, lost with huge margins. Majority of the voters have turned down the ideology of hate in Jhang district where only one provincial legislature seat went to outlawed outfit’s candidate, thanks to inaction against him on legal grounds that has otherwise automatically disqualified him even from candidature.
As many as 57.41% voters turnout was recorded in NA-116 Jhang III where total 476,031 voters were registered and 272,738 votes were cast while 12,075 votes were declared invalid.
