MWM withdraws in favour of PTI contestant for PA seat from Karachi

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen finally retired its candidate against allied PTI’s contestant in election to Sindh Provincial Assembly from PS-125 Karachi constituency.

The announcement came late night Monday after series of talks between the two parties’ leaders. As a result of these contacts and talks, Mir Taqi Zafar of MWM retired in favour of Abbas Jafari of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The MWM has entered into an electoral alliance with PTI in Punjab and adjustments in other provinces while some seats were open for both sides and Mir Taqi Zafar was MWM’s nominee from one such constituency.
