MWM leader Agha Ali Rizvi named in fourth schedule as ASWJ gets relief
On the one hand, Pakistan government has excluded notorious ringleader of outlawed terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) from the list of fourth schedule of Anti-Terrorism law, and on the other put the name of MWM Gilgit-Baltistan leader Allama Agha Syed Ali Rizvi in the fourth schedule in what appeared to victimize a political opponent who led a peaceful struggle for legitimate rights of people of his region.
Agha Ali Rizvi, a mid-ranking cleric is head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s Gilgit-Baltistan chapter. He has been raising voice for the inalienable rights of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. He never remained involved in any sort or violent or unlawful activities, let alone anti-state activities.
People of Gilgit-Baltistan have turned down the unjust and biased decision against Agha Rizvi on the ground that he truly represents them and had no record of support to unlawful or violent activities.
Pakistani nation bears witness that pro-Saudi violent extremist outfits such as Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) of Ludhianvi who still remains involved in terrorism and have earned notoriety because of their hate-mongering intolerance ideology and terrorist attacks on civilians across Pakistan, are enjoying freedom and being encouraged and patronized to continue their anti-humanity activities. Ban on them is being lifted and their notorious ringleaders are excluded from the fourth schedule because of pro-terrorism agenda of their masters.
