Chief of Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria Allama Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Junejo-Moosavi Accord of May 21, 1985 that was reached between him and then Prime Minister Mohammad Khan Junejo was a milestone in the struggle of fundamental and religious rights in Pakistan and that still remains relevant and truly represents the ideology of Pakistan.

He expressed these views in his message to the Youm-e-Tahaffuz-e-Nazaria Pakistan Conference that was held to mark 33rd anniversary of Junejo-Moosavi accord. Syed Taqueer Zaidi of his part read out his message at the conference organized by Mukhtar Organisation and Mukhtar Students Organisation.
He said that terrorists target was not only Sunni and Shia Muslims but their actual target is Islam and Pakistan. He said some forced want to turn Pakistan into intolerant and secular state but TNFJ would not allow them to do so.
He said during 11 year black tenure of martial law dictator General Zia, Islam was defamed in the name of Shariah laws and his so-called Sharia laws had nothing to do with Islam but he defamed Islamic laws by so doing.
TNFJ chief lauded services of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah saying that creation of Pakistan was the great achievement of 2oth century.
The TNFJ leaders are of the views that Zia regime patronized terrorists and fanatics under a global plot to turn Pakistan into an intolerant sectarian state but TNFJ resisted the conspiracy. TNFJ thinks that Mufti Jafar-led Pakistani Shia Muslims defeated the plots of un-elected dictatorial military regime of General Zia.
TNFJ leaders like all other Shia scholars and parties’ leaders stress on Shia-Sunni unity saying that both had played key role under the leadership of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, himself a Shia Muslim and did a miracle by achieving Pakistan.
