Muharram moon sighted in Pakistan, Ashura on 6th December

muharramThe moon for the Islamic month of Muharram-ul-Haram has been sighted in various parts of Pakistan here on Saturday. 

The Majalis to commemorate the sacrifices of the grandson of Prophet (pbuh) Hazrat Imam Hussain (as) and his companions in the land of Karbala

are held at every city, district and village of the country.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, This was announced by Chairman of Pakistan Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing a meeting of the committee, held at the Met Office.

The first of Muharram ul Haram will fall on November 27 while Youm-e-Ashura will be observed on December 6th in across the country.
