Allama Sajid Naqvi urges OIC to stop Israeli war on Gaza

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Chief of Shia Ulema Council and senior vice president of Milli Yakjehti Council, has urged the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to defend the Palestinians of Gaza against Zionist Israeli aggression.

“We shall not leave our Palestinian brethren alone. Entire Ummah should play an active and effective role to rid people of Gaza of Israeli aggression,” he urged while talking to a delegation of religious scholars who met him.

Allama Naqvi said that it was duty of the OIC to use all its resources to protect Palestinians of Gaza and stop Zionist regime from attacks on defenseless Palestinians of Gaza. He criticized the Arab monarchies for their silence and inaction against the Israeli war on Gaza.

“Government of Pakistan should begin contacting the International Community and Muslim rulers and chalk out a course of action against the illegitimate state of Israel,” he proposed.

He said that Milli Yakjehti Council observed Friday as a day of protest against the Zionist crimes against humanity in Gaza. He said that International Quds Day would be observed on Friday July 25.
