9 terrorists arrested in crackdown on Deobandi fanatic seminaries

Police and security agencies conducted multiple raids on Monday and arrested nine Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba and Taliban.

Intelligence sources said security forces arrested six of the terrorists in raids in Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province and Alipur in Muzaffargarh district of Punjab province.

Suicide jackets, hand grenades and heavy weaponry were seized from the terrorists.

In a separate raid in a house in DG Khan, the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of the police arrested three more terrorists belonging to banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. The arrested were identified as Abdur Rahman, Saim and Fahad.
