Three police cops martyred in Yazidi takfiri Taliban terrorist attack in Karachi

Namaz-e-Janaza-Police-CopsThree policemen embraced martyrdom while another cop and a passer-by suffered injuries, in an attack carried out by the takfiri terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP in Manghopir area.

Constables Somar, aged 38, Ghulam Ali (35), Munawwar (30) and Ali Nawaz (32) were on a routine patrol on two motorcycles when they came under heavy fire near Mianwali Colony. The Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists used automatic weapons and made away with the policemen’s SMGs after the shooting, in which a bystander identified as Shahid was also hurt. All the injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital but three of them – Constables Somar, Ghulam Ali and Munawwar – passed away en route. A medico-legal officer said all three victims, who were posted with the Pirababd police, sustained multiple bullets wounds on their upper bodies.

SSP West Irfan Ali Baloch told the Shiite News the attack was carried out by Taliban terrorists. He said the area was immediately cordoned off after the incident and a heavy police contingent was deployed for a house-to-house search in the Mianwali and Kunwari colonies, which led to the arrests of several suspects.
