kafan-posh-2Thousands of Shia Muslims participated in a Kafan-posh rally in Karachi to protest against the Shia genocide in Pakistan.

All Pakistan Shia Action Committee staged the rally on Sunday against the ongoing Shia genocide in Karachi and the Taftan massacre. Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Sagheer Abid Rizvi and Ali Ausat led the rally.

Women, men and children began marching from purani numaish to Ali Raza (AS) Imam Bargah on MA Jinnah road, Shiite News Correspondent reported. Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain said both the federal as well as the provincial government failed to provide protection to the life and property of the citizens.

“We demand that the killings be stopped and the killers be arrested. Operation be launched to eliminate the terrorists. Waziristan operation should be expanded to Mastung, Taftan, Quetta and Karachi and rest of the country,” he urged.

The protesters wore ‘kafans’ in order to express their resolve against the issue. They were raising slogans such as Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS).

Ali Ausat said that the terrorists are illegitimate persons and they themselves called them Boko Haram. Haram means illegitimate. He said that so are Yazidi takfiri terrorists of Taliban and its affiliates such as Sipah-e-Sahaba and ISIS.

he further said, Shiites always welcomed the deaths through martyrdom hence they came out on the call of Shia Action Committee to renew their pledge that they were ready to embrace martyrdom. But, he made clear, it should not mean that government had no responsibility. He said that government was duty-bound to protect Shia Pakistanis at all cost.
