Yazidi takfiri Taliban terrorists booked for airport attack case

TTP-terroristA case was registered against outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid and other members for Sunday’s attack on Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.

A First Information Report (FIR) was registered at the Airport police station on the complaint of the Airport Security Force (ASF), Shiite News Correspondent reported.

Sections of murder, attempted murder, Anti-Terrorism Act, Explosives Act and damage to public property were included in the FIR.

The TTP had claimed responsibility for the overnight siege of the airport in which at least 37 people, including 10 terrorists, were killed.

According to reports, 12 ASF personnel, one each of the police, Rangers and Shaheen Air International are among the deceased. The dead also include seven people who were trapped in a cold storage and were not rescued in time. Twenty-six others were also injured in the brazen assault.
