4 Shia Muslims including a security official martyred in Taliban terrorist attack in FATA

Four Shia tribesmen including a paramilitary soldier embraced martyrdom when Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of Taliban (TTP) attacked a convoy of Sipah-e-Tribe – a predominant Shia clan – returning from a funeral in Lal Pura area of Lower Orakzai Agency.

Tehsildar Lower Orakzai Agency, Sher Bahadar Khan told Shiite News that a terrorist was also gunned down while at least 5 others managed fled the scene fearing a tit-for-tat response.

The attack was aimed at Shia tribe, who are opposed to terrorist activities of Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of Taliban. The martyrs were identified as Safdar Ali, Gul Ali, Hareer Hussain and Shahnawaz.

The political administration said that they were investigating into the incident. They said that a search operation has been launched in the area and a number of suspects have been arrested.

Orakzai Agency has been one of the toughest war zone that was used to be the second home to most of the Mehsud Taliban led by Hakimullah Mehsud and it took the security forces almost three years to flush the militants out of the area.
However, miscreants’ presence still remains in few isolated areas. The militants persist in carrying out terrorist activities in the agency and the adjoining Hangu district mostly targeting Shia Muslims.

Shia parties and leaders have condemned the terrorist attack on peaceful Shia Muslims in Orakzai Agency, FATA. Talking to Shiite News, Allama Sajid Naqvi of Shia Ulema Council and Mehdi Shah Abedi of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen demanded that action be taken to eliminate the terrorists. Mehdi Shah demanded military operation to liquidate all the terrorists from all parts of Pakistan.
