ahmed-Ludhianvi-terroristThe Supreme Court of Pakistan suspended the notifications of fraudulent election of Ahmad Ludhianvi of the proscribed terrorist group Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) that is renamed version of outlawed terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba.

Government of Pakistan banned/proscribed these two outfits alongside banning its subsidiary Lashkar-e-Jhangvi but amazingly its leaders had always been allowed to contest elections, Azam Tariq and Ludhianvi are two examples of mockery of law.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN)’s Sunni politician Akram Shaikh was elected as Member of National Assembly (MNA) from NA-89 Jhang but after Saudi monarchy paid 1.5 billion dollars, the loser was declared winner.
It was another irony that the notorious terrorist leader Ludhianvi argued that Sunni politician Shaikh Mohammad Akram was not “Sadiq and Ameen” (truthful and trustworthy). As a matter of fact, Ludhianvi’s is declared terrorist outfit, his deputy Malik Ishaq was co-founder of outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi but he told journalists in Islamabad that he and his outfit had no relation with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. So, his ludicrous argument against Shaikh Akram should have been rejected but Saudi monarchy’s gifted dollars played decisive role.
The Election Commission of Pakistan and an election tribunal declared terrorist ringleader Ludhianvi the winner.
Shaikh Akram challengedthe decision in Supreme Court where a 3-member bench – headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali – suspended both the notifications, saying that the tribunal had not given enough reasons for the disqualification. The bench said the tribunal’s decision did not take into account the ground realities in the constituency and the number of votes each candidate received.
The bench issued notices to all the respondents and asked the tribunal to re-evaluate the situation and inform the court within three months.
