Allama Mukhtar Imami demands immediate arrest of terrorists involved in Shia killings

Allama Mukhtar Imami, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Sindh chapter, has demanded that the Yazidi takfiri terrorists involved in genocide against Shiites should be arrested forthwith.

He condemned the continued targeted assassinations of Shia traders and professionals in Karachi saying in a statement on Tuesday that Dr Qasim Abbas was murdered due to government’s inaction against the terrorists.

“PPP-led Sindh Government too, like federal government of the PMLN, raised the stature of the notorious terrorists as public leaders by according them to the official protocol in the name of security squad,” he said.

Allama Imami cited report of police and intelligence about the fact that a particular sect’s mosques and seminaries were abetting the terrorists in their attacks by sheltering them during, before and after the attacks.

“Government and the security agencies should not hoodwink people by fake operation against the terrorists. They need to eliminate the terrorists by concrete practical actions instead of mere lip-service,” he urged.

The MWM official said that 5 Shia businessmen and a Shia doctor were ambushed but the police and rangers failed to foil the terrorist attacks and arrest of the terrorists. He demanded that Sindh Government should match its policy with the words of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari because they said one thing and did nothing in practice.
