Will Punjab govt target 174 hideouts of Yazidi takfiri terrorists?
Will Punjab government launch a crackdown on Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (now renamed as Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Punjab Taliban after the Punjab Home Department has ordered action against terrorist hideouts in the province? This question was raised by analysts because of government’s inaction against the terrorists.
Shiite News Monitoring Desk reported here on Wednesday that a news channel aired news of around 174 hideouts of the terrorists in Punjab province.
“There are reports of the presence of at least 174 hideouts of the terrorists in the province whereas the Punjab Home Department has ordered a joint operation in these localities,” news report said.
Under the plan, Punjab Police and intelligence agencies have to launch joint operation while the hideouts would be searched in three different timings.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the Punjab government had launched crackdown on a key network of terrorists and arrested several of them. He said that the detained terrorists wanted to target VIPs in the province.
