Sunni Bralevi scholars reject Deobandi terrorist outfit at Sunni Conference
Ittehad-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat Conference of Pakistan’s Sunni Bralevis is being held at Nishtar Park Karachi on Saturday evening but Sunni scholars have rejected the request of self-claimed Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat (ASWJ) to join them.
The ASWJ is renamed version of banned Deobandi terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba that is mother organisation of outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
Sunni Bralevi scholars have made clear that the ASWJ had nothing to do with Ahl-e-Sunnat (Sunni). They said the ASWJ is a terrorist and fanatic outfit of Deobandi sect.
The conference is aimed at strengthening intra-Sunni unity against the Deobandis and Salafis who, Sunni Bralevis think, hijacked the name of Ahl-e-Sunnat but in fact they are not part of Ahl-e-Sunnat (Sunnis).
Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and Mufti Muneeb are among the key speakers at the conference that will express Sunni strength against the pro-Taliban fanatics.
